Over 20 years ago Pegasus Ranch was founded by Sybille, a German expatriate who turned her passion for horses into her own little paradise. She put her heart and soul into building up the ranch and successfully offered riding lessons and tours for many years, making a name for herself in the community. But as she got older, the daily work on the ranch became more and more of a challenge. The stables had to be looked after, the paddocks maintained and the animals cared for - a burden that she could hardly bear alone. The future of Pegasus Ranch seemed uncertain.
Just when it looked as if the farm would be forgotten, Sophia and Michalis, who supported Sybille over the years stepped in. With fresh energy and new ideas, they took the helm. Their big goal is to breathe new life into Pegasus Farm and turn it into a place that is more than just a riding stable.
From the first rescued donkeys to the loyal dogs and cats that found a new life - the farm grew steadily and with it the family.
In a short time Pegasus Farm has developed into a very special place. A place where people and animals come together to relax and have fun. Here, it's all about leaving everyday life behind. Here you can feel the gentle nature of the donkeys as you brush and stroke them or enjoy the countryside on a leisurely ride. For the little ones, we offer pony rides and first riding lessons by arrangement, which are designed to be child-friendly and fun.
Today, Pegasus Farm is a popular excursion destination where we share our passion for animals with you. It is a place of joy and relaxation, where every day tells a new story - and you are warmly invited to be part of it.
Working together for our animals
Even as a small operation, Pegasus Farm is always on the move. We are currently rebuilding and working continuously to make our home for the animals even more beautiful and functional.
Every day brings us one step closer, but we depend on your support. With every donation, you help us provide our animals with everything they need and expand our capacity to take in even more rescued souls.
